We have worked with Remus for a number of years and have found them to be thorough and diligent managing agents with a high level of expertise in dealing with long residential leases and the plethora of issues that arise around major repairs and service charges. They have handled difficult leaseholders firmly but fairly, and their communication skills are excellent.

Our overall experience of working with Remus has been very positive – the team is responsive, thorough, and innovative. We have been particularly impressed by the introduction of an Excel spreadsheet system for all existing projects and issues, with frequent updates provided both in person and via Teams, involving all relevant Remus personnel and the directors of the resident management company. This approach has made it far easier for everyone to stay aligned. A notable example of their problem-solving was the urgent response to water pressure problems and water outages in various flats, which included repeated out-of-hours attendance by both in-house staff and third-party contractors. Since working with Remus, we have seen long-standing issues — including accounting, short-term letting, outstanding late payments, the water issue, and potential overcharging by the freeholder — being addressed in a professional and proactive manner. Would I recommend Remus? I already have.
