Sustainable Business

A culture of growth, support, sustainability and giving.

Our environment

Whilst our job is to manage buildings, our delivery and reception of that service is all about the people that work in the organisation, and the people who live in the buildings. To ensure the success of our business and the communities we're building, it is essential that we carefully manage our impact on the environment to create a sustainable future for all our stakeholders. We're proud to be able to state that we are now accredited as being a 'Carbon Neutral' company.

Our colleagues

Remus staff enjoy a work environment that recognises achievement and encourages personal and professional growth and we believe in having a little fun along the way. With a structured approach to training, everyone can achieve career progression. Management adopts an 'open-door' policy, which gives staff every opportunity to discuss things that matter to them, and we actively encourage break-out sessions during the week to allow for some down-time and recharge of batteries.

The health and wellbeing of our teams is important and there is support available for both physical and mental health issues, including check-in facilities for work-related stress.

Our customers & clients

All of our customers and clients benefit from a transparent, fair and ethical service, particularly in light of the legal and regulatory environment in which we work.

All property owners can be confident that we will provide a safe environment for the homes we manage thanks to our health and safety management system, contractor accreditation and internal practices. We also ensure that we engage cost-effective services to protect and enhance the value of those homes.

The communities we serve

We try to give something back to our local community, and indeed to causes that are close to the hearts of our staff. We support local sports clubs, schools and a range of charities.

Our supply chain

We engage thousands of contractors on behalf of our clients. We prefer to engage smaller, local contractors as they tend to provide a higher quality service and better value for money and builds long-term relationships which makes for better, more efficient solutions for home clients and customers. This, in turn, also supports the local communities we serve.

We support our supply chain with a fair and reasonable accreditation programme and provide additional support for health and safety and compliance where needed.
